With Alain Bashung, the Ardentes has both the immense honour and genuine pleasure of welcoming one of the biggest French artists of all time. Admired by his peers, worshipped by critics and also enjoying popularity and fame thanks to numerous hits like "Vertige de l'amour", "Gaby, Oh Gaby", "Osez Josephine" and "Ma petite enterprise", Bashung gained admiration and respect with his ever demanding albums. Six years after "L'imprudence", he is back with "Bleu Petrole", a sublime album produced by Gaëtan Roussel (from Louise Attaque) and Mark Plati (Bowie and Cure collaborator) among others. Representing a return to a more acoustic, pure universe, close to the folk or country approach of his early days but also as on the album "Osez Josephine", "Bleu Petrole" will probably be looked back upon as his masterpiece. Notably, Bashung will play the very beautiful compositions from this last opus on 13 July at the Ardentes but also extracts from earlier productions. Unmissable!
