Sebastien Tellier

He is probably one of the most popular artists this summer. Indeed, it is impossible to overlook this amazing individual, who is in the news with his very hedonistic third album, Sexuality. The druid who appeared from the entourage of bands like Air and Phoenix made his big breakthrough thanks to the song La Ritournelle (without a doubt one of the most beautiful compositions of the last 20 years) and the soundtrack to Lost in Translation. His music is a mix of haunted British pop à la Robert Wyatt and odd French chansons with influences of Gainsbourg and Christophe. Since then, the bearded giant with cosmic glasses likes to be extravagant and controversial. After his first album of "sad" songs, l'Incroyable Vérité, and a second more "committed" one, Politics, Sebastien Tellier brings out an album that can be described as "sophisticated". He sings about sweaty and torrid sex, but with a touch of romance in the image of his Italian hero, the singer Lucio Battisti. The whole is wrapped in the synthetic layers of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, one half of the famous duo Daft Punk and producer of this album. An album that will be remembered and a performance that should leave no one indifferent!
