CASPA (Dubstep - UK)
DJ/producer Caspa is one of the most influential figures at the heart of the Dubstep community. Known under the name Quiet Storm, the West London native prematurely fell into Drum'n'Bass and took up DJing, before founding the label Storming Productions in 2004. Caspa made his production debut in 2006 on the Dub Police label with the EP "For The Kids" and inaugurated the "Sub Soldiers" label the following year. Also in 2007 he collaborated with DJ/producer Rusko for the album FabricLive.37. Considered by many as a precursor of Dubstep, the duo entered the big time. With an album on the horizon, as well as other big projects, the young Brit shows no signs of slowing down in 2009, the year in which his appearance at Les Ardentes is already being deemed as unmissable.
