DAN SAN (Pop/Folk - BE)
Liege locals Dan San offer up acoustic folk wavering between melancholic dreamy melodies and lively rhythms. In their little world, the vocals mix with the sound of the guitar, the beat of the cahon and the sound of the harmonica. The lyrics are directly inspired by their lives, what they do day to day: love, tough times, meetings... but also current events that touch them, injustice that appals them. In 2004, things became clearer. With a two guitar-two voice set-up, Thomas Medard and Jerome Magnee composed their first tracks together. In 2007, Arthuritare was integrated into the group providing the opportunity to revive their tracks and write new ones. At the same time, Dan San joined the Jaune Orange collective and was invited to join groups like Girls in Hawaii, My Little Cheap Dictaphone and Malibu Stacy at the heart of the organisation. Finally with the arrival of a fourth member, everything became clearer and Dan San found a sense of maturity. They are now ready to give everything they've got for an unforgettable show at the Ardentes!
