MYLO (Electro/House - SCO)
Coming from nowhere (or The Isle of Skye, off the far north of Scotland to be exact) Mylo, alias Myles MacInnes, appeared in 2004 with "Destroy Rock n' Roll", one of the best debut electro albums of all time. Immediately compared with the greats, like Daft Punk and Air with a touch of Moby and Royksopp, Mylo however, wrote the album alone in his bedroom on a Mac G4. It has to be said that the young man, aged 25 at the time, proved to have surprising creativity and sense of melody. He produced several instant hits such as "In My Arms" and the incomparable "Drop the Pressure", which had double the success thanks to the bootleg version "Doctor Pressure". After working with Kylie Minogue, the prodigious DJ and producer is today preparing his big comeback. "I'm Back", the first single from his new album was broadcast exclusively in spring by the BBC and is already causing a buzz. Expectations are that the Scottish DJ will make up for the wait, by delivering at Les Ardentes during his set, several tracks that our ears have been impatiently crying out for, for the last five years.
