OZARK HENRY (Pop - BE)
Despite having a classical composer for a father, Qzark Henry, born Piet Goddaer, did not begin his career with music, but with painting, a field where he rapidly became widely renowned and popular. Bored with his first passion, he turned to music and composition. Thus followed, in 1996, his first album, entitled "I'm Seeking Something That Already Found Me", which was a great success first of all, amongst critics, impressed by his vocal skill, and then by the general public. For him, musical composition became second nature and a necessity. In just a little over ten years, he produced ten more records, some being double albums, and was involved in several artistic collaborations with, amongst others, Joost Zweegers of Novastar and the fashion designer Dries Van Notten. With more than a decade of concerts under his belt and headline appearances at the largest festivals, Qzark Henry has built up a solid reputation for flawless concerts, mixing electronic, rock, trip hop and ambient atmospheres.
