SHARKO (Rock/Pop - BE)
With the voice of David Bartholome still resounding in everybody's head following the huge success of electro rock project Variety Lab and the single "We should be dancing", it's with his group Sharko that he'll be performing an exclusive concert at the Ardentes this summer. After the enormous success of his album, "Molecule", a record that's brutal, blistering, overflowing with humanity and devoid of effects, Sharko returns this time with a new, more festive and dancey mood. "Dance on the Beast", already his fifth album, plays with words, evoking the "beat" as well as the beast, which David Bartholome has to tame and master. The beast symbolises the limitations of the reality that emerges from the shadows of the past and the anxiety of the future. A recurrent theme of the album, the beast must be killed but also danced around and celebrated. This is a concert not to be missed from an incontrovertible personality of the Belgian scene.
