SUPERGRASS (Rock/Pop - UK)
Supergrass, one of the best groups to spring from the 90s, return in grand form for Les Ardentes. After shaking up the planet in 1995 with their global anthem "Alright" Supergrass followed on with albums like "In It For The Money" in 1997 and 2002's "Life On Other Planets", each carried by its share of unstoppable singles like "Mary", "Moving" and "Pumpin on your Stereo". The tragic accident of bassist Mickey Quinn however put the band on hold for several months. In August 2007, he sleepwalked out of a first floor window of a villa in Toulouse and was hospitalised. Some months later with the urge back in place and a recuperated bassist, Supergrass bounced back, ready to defend one of the best releases of their career "Diamond Hoo Haa". From the first note it's a bitch-slap. "Diamond Hoo Ha Men ", "Bad Blood " and " Rebel In You" figure among the group's best compositions.
Each time Supergrass succeed in reinventing themselves.
