THE HICKEY UNDERWORLD (BE)
The Hickey Underworld is the Antwerp rock combo on the up. Noticed thanks to their outstanding song "The Nation of Ulysses" and their nomination in Humo's Rock Rally in 2006, The Hickey Underworld rubbed shoulders backstage with big names such as Dinosaur Jr., The Von Bondies, Cursive and Be Your Own Pet. Their fans had to wait however for them to finally release their debut album in 2008, but it was worth it. Today the group clearly declare their ambition and the single "Future Worlds" measures up to U2 and Kings Of Leon in Studio Brussels - De Afrekening category. The Hickey Underworld are ready to trample everything in their path with a concert at Les Ardentes 2009, long awaited by their fans with baited breath.
