THE SUBWAYS (Rock - UK)
The Subways is first of all, the story of a family: two brothers and their best friend. Influenced from a very young age by the Ramones, Sonic Youth and the Smashing Pumpkins, it was listening to "Supersonic" by Oasis which gave them the desire to form a group. After several demos and EPs, as well as more and more prestigious concerts, in 2005, the group released "Young for Eternity", a first album which was immediately a huge global success. Thanks to unstoppable singles like "Oh Yeah" and "Rock and Roll Queen", The Subways were to take part in the biggest festivals and no continent escaped this refreshing wave of rock and roll. "All or Nothing", their brilliant second album, was released in 2008. Here we are delighted to find the skilful mix of riotous guitars and powerful rounded vocals which gave them their reputation.
