HEALTH (Rock/Noise - US)
Based in Los Angeles, Health have no fear of unleashing a radical electronic beast, fuelled by primal rhythms and basic keyboards to detonate their terrifying experimental rock. After a shared single with Crystal Castles and a unanimously well received eponymous album in 2007 (with disco remixes the year after) their second release “Get Color” continues in the brutish style of Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine.
Just before their appearance at Les Ardentes, “Disco 2” a compilation of “Get Color” remixes will be released. It will include new versions by Crystal Castles, Tobacco, Salem, Javelin, Gold Panda, Small Black, etc. as well as the unheard “USA Boys” produced by Alan Moulder.
