AN PIERLE and WHITE VELVET ( - BE)
After presenting her new album exclusively in Liège this Winter, An Pierlé is back at the festival to the delight of her many fans. On first appearances, An Pierlé is a young, frail, gracious and fragile woman. However, you just need to see her on stage or listen to her albums to quickly realise that she is a solid singer with a powerful and impressive voice; a first lady of song. A dead cert on the Belgian music scene, the beautiful An has won the loyalty of the Belgian public, but also the European public. Since 2006, she has evolved together with her partner both in life and on stage, Koen Gisen, under the name “An Pierlé & White Velvet”. Their first album as a duo was a real success and today, this fine team are back with “Hinterland”. In contrast, this project offers up a series of sounds and images while still maintaining some restraint. This a new gem that An Pierlé & White Velvet will present at the Ardentes.
