Although The Bikinians take their name from the Bikini Atoll and its 36 islands, known for its opal lagoon and…nuclear testing, they first saw the light of day in Brussels. After two promotional EPs, “Roller Coaster” and “Rhinocirrhosis”, acclaimed by les Inrocks, they are mounting up appearances on the best stages in Belgium and France, an experience that they will profit from when they record their first album “Follow the d.o.t.s.”, due out in 2011. This record is so British-sounding that Ardentes bouncy pop lovers won’t have to be begged to love it.
