With his eccentric personality and original approach to the art of DJing, DJ Koze brings a fresh touch to the world of techno. Hamburg native, DJ Koze alias Stefan Kozalla, has patiently built his global reputation as a DJ and producer. Despite beginning in 1998, it was towards 2003 that he really started to gravitate to the centre of the German techno scene; a year which saw his first project appear on the revered label, Kompakt. His album “Kosi Comes Around” and his remix of Matias Aguayo’s “Minimal” definitively established his reputation as a versatile and talented producer of the new generation of artists from the Kompakt team. His reputation continues to thrive single after single with his track “I Want to Sleep” even being named track of the year by the influential electronic music site Resident Advisor.
