FUSTY DELIGHTS ( - BE)
Fusty Delights is the electronic project of Liege locals Dié and Fred. Created in 2008 when they were active principally as DJs, this group allows them to celebrate their love for styles of music from disco to new wave via post-rock and shoegazing. Fusty Delights were born and grew up in the 80s. There is no denying the influence of this period. But to sum up their music so narrowly is too easy. They use computers and synths to create powerful music full of lightly nostalgic melancholy. In 2010, they won the FNAC Unsigned Music Talent competition, the Welcome Spring Festival Young Talent competition and got second prize in the Circuit Competition. As they are now working on their first EP, we are already lapping up their remixes like that of Crystal Fighters “At Home”, on Aeroplane’s playlist.
