In 2009 The Subways gave one of the best energetic rock‘n’roll concerts in the Ardentes’ history, so we couldn’t miss the opportunity of inviting them back this year. Billy, Charlotte and Josh return with a new album in preparation, which will be distributed initially online, allowing the profits to be put into charitable causes. But the Subways is above all a family story, one of two brothers and their best friend. Influenced at a young age by The Ramones, Sonic Youth and Smashing Pumpkins, it was hearing “Supersonic” by Oasis that inspired them to form a group. Thanks to relentless singles like “Oh Yeah” and “Rock and Roll Queen”, The Subways have appeared at many big festivals and no continent can escape their wave of refreshing rock and roll.
