Témé Tan has traveling in his blood – born in Democratic Republic of Congo, his family went back and forth between Brussel and Kinshasa – that reflect perfectly the lifestyle of a young modern man that can feel at home on every continent.
Tanguy grew up around Congolese tones, zouk and rumba. But it is only when he came to Brussel, at school, that he started doing music.
He’s always committed, curious and always want to learn new things. Even if he has never learned to play an instrument before joining his first group, he started playing guitar after falling in love with Brazilian bossa and tropicalia and he quickly used an MPC to create beats that he finds nowhere else.
